He'll be delighted. Had to cut back on the kids' Christmas as he never got the autumn payoff as he'd anticipated.
Hardly surprising given how frequently Watford go through managers / head coaches. To be 1-0 up and lose to an awful Huddersfield side takes some doing.
I dont care but im interested. As with most former employees in that respect. Nowt wrong with that is there?!
possible and he was in charge of a team we couldn't watch live but the guy will still go down in history of our 2nd or 3rd best effort to get into the promised land
26 posts prior to this and you wasted your monumental 27th typing this! With your caps lock on too! You obviously care enough to reply anyway and I’m sure most of us are interested in our former managers
Maybe Val was found out a bit before that season ended, and Cooper at Swansea certainly had his number. Watford though are a ridiculous club when it comes to managers, so I'm surprised he's lasted this long.
Does he have a plan b apart from the press? Was great when he came with that to us, and have to respect what excitement he gave us that season, but doesn’t look good for him now…
https://www.watfordfc.com/news/club...h Valérien Ismaël has,a longer period of time. Only signed an extended deal in October.
Don’t care what he does elsewhere. He gave us the 4th best league season in our history and I bloody love him.
Can't keep dining out off his one behind closed doors season with us. He shouldbe dropping to league one with his next position to try and build his reputation back up.
I think his style of play requires complete buy in from everyone & is more suited to a team of underdogs than one of the promotion candidates. Telling multi million pound forwards they’ve got to run themselves into the ground & regardless of how well they play they’re coming off after 60 mins is a bit tougher than saying it to Woodrow, Frieser & Adeboyejo
Bit of a handicapped season, no fans, no pressure etc.. football was absolutely shocking and knowing our crowd it would have been booed to **** had they been allowed in, they're moaning now - it's 20 times better than Val's football
Where were WBA when they sacked him and have they done better since ? He took Besiktas to the top end of the league and I doubt they've done better since and we'd probably still be in the championship if he'd stayed, I did think he'd do better at Watford but he's made a lot of money out of basket case clubs that didn't have patience.
