Are the hobs not heating up?

There’s also an Amazon tool to find a logo but I’ve no idea how to use it

Calvin Klein? Looks like a C wrapped around a K. Maybe an old logo?

2 of them turn on but after about a minute it just starts bleeping and shuts down, error E showing.

We've moved to a new build and can't find any info for it in the pack we were given. I'm going round in circles with the developer!

That's some diversification from Mr Klein to move into induction hobs.

What kind of pans are you using? They have to have a steel or iron base. Aluminium won't work and will give exactly the error you describe.

Also, the pan has to be in place for it to work. You can't turn it on with no pan in place, it will just turn itself off again.

There is a Brand called OK.
Has a different logo as it is literally a capital OK and then the dot/fullstop, but perhaps an old logo?
Can’t find any info on them though so not sure if any of this is of use.

Ah ok. I'm not sure then, just that some will only heat up if there's a pan on the hob

Haha, yh I've read online some stories of people struggling on those points. Not me though, aware of all that. I've tried my wok (which works on 2 of the rings) on the 2 that don't work. I am awaiting delivery of some new pans though, specially for induction.

Having had one of these in the past, under the hob the power comes in to two of the hobs and then is connected across to the other two - sounds like that connection could need looking at

This may help. Then google the manual if details are found.

For hobs this can usually be found on the underside, side or back of the appliance. You will find the model number on a sticker or rating plate. This can usually be found around the frame, behind the door of the appliance.

Got any pictures of the whole unit?
Our induction hob occasionally has 2 rings that don’t work whilst the others do. Usually fixed by a full switch off and back on again.

Just come back to this post, wasn't on yesterday. Thanks all for your input, think I'm sorted now, finally got the developer's ear as there are other defects he needs to sort. Had a flurry of workmen here today, and a rather grovelling email from him.

    Cheers all.
