If Big Don can boss Sam Vokes in the air then I'm hopeful of a postive outcome.

 

They haven't faced statistically the best away side in the division at home yet though.

 

Conceded late equalisers to Vale and Lincoln, went 2-0 down to Fleetwood, held by Cheltenahm until a late double.

 

I don’t think we will have much trouble beating them confidence must be sky high at the minute.

 

They haven't played any of the top 3 away teams this season - Derby and Portsmouth have more away points but from more games.

 

Far better record when they score first.

 

Thankfully, they don't seem to score many early goals at home which should be good for us.

 

We don't want to concede first looking at those stats.....

 

Last twice I’ve been (either side of covid season) we lost 1-0 and won 1-0, both horrible, bitty games. I doubt that Ainsworths departure has changed the way they play, and can think of easier opponents to visit.

That said, only Pompey have lost less games than us this season, and our away form is brilliant, so shouldn’t fear them. Just expect them to make it difficult.

 

Considering our come backs in recent games, either its inevitable we will concede first, or perhaps we should want to. Men on a mission when we concede now!
