Ouch. Hope they are ok. The seat may have cushioned the fall a little.

Unless I'm mistaken, it looks like he fell onto a safe standing area, they look like those rail seats. It seems to be something that's happening more and more often.

I don't want to cast aspersions (though it always seems to be a Leeds fan), but I wonder whether it's becoming a bit of a fad to do something like that. Fan bases trying to "one up" each other. I hope the chap involved, and anyone he may have hit below, isn't seriously hurt all the same.

They do go mad when they score, it was refreshing to see in the Prem, where most teams put down their sandwiches before giving a light applause.

It beggers belief that you honestly think he did that on a purpose, looking at the crowd obviously leeds scored and in the melee of lets go foookin mental celebrations hes fallen or been accidentaly knocked off the stand, tier.

To be fair, a lad 2 seats from me in The Ponty last saturday finished up flat on his face when Phillips' rocket hit the back of the net. We were all standing at the time and next thing his head was right in front of my feet

    Perfectly understandable.

Maybe I am being a bit presumptuous, so I apologise for that. As you say, Leeds fans go over the top when they score. To an embarrassing level some times in my opinion, to the extent where it's a badge of honour with their online fan base. There just seems to be a scary rise in this happening, and obviously it's caused by something; I guess we can only summise whether it's over exuberant celebrating, alcohol or something else.

I'm sorry but I laughed when I first saw it. Hope he's o.k mind. I suspect alcohol may have cushioned the blow as he hit the seats beneath him.

Don’t want to watch it but hope he and the ones he fell on are all right. Someone who was fell on the other week at a different match came off pretty badly as they landed almost entirely on him.

Obviously he’s not meant to go over the side but I do think there’s a lot of fans that jump into each other deliberately like their in a mosh pit these days so they can do the whole ‘limbs’ thing posting the clips of them celebrating on social media.

You've made the point I was trying to make, but articulated it much better.
