Tickets booked for Leeds in November for Journey, with Cheap Trick supporting. Millionth line up since Steve Perry, but it’ll do nicely.

We so em a few years back with whitesnake and thunder' the sound was really poor and people started walking out' felt a bit sorry for the band coz it was obviously a sound tech issue' hope its better for you this time around..

I think it it was set list issue , they played Don’t stop believing half way through the set and everyone started leaving after it , then played a load of songs that even the die hard would struggle to recognise . Saw them at Milton Keynes when Steve Perry was miming , also at Manchester with the YouTube guy and he/ they were brilliant

Cheers, hope so - not bothered about Cheap Trick, though, to be honest. Saw them a few years back with Def Leppard, very disappointed. Zander’s voice long past its best then.

Arnel Pineda is awesome. Not Steve Perry, but very, very good.

That was my 3rd time seeing em. If 1st. Could have probably been the last tbh. As you say though lots of technical issues. Should have used Whitesnake or Thunders gear.
Whilst 3 of our 4 enjoyed Whitesnake the most. I preferred Thunder.
To not put the poster off the 1st 2 gigs were brilliant. Brum. And Newcastle.
    All with Arnel. Fantastic singer.

Lots of club bands do journey stuff and if I don't hear 'Don't Stop Believing' ever again I'll be a happy man. :)

    Don't Stop Believing!

The theme song for the Giants, which I believe may have started around 2010, at the start of a golden period where they won the World Series three times in five years.

They play it and put the words on the big screen (153 feet x 71 feet - 4K - ~$10 million) and the crowd of 44K plus singalong.

I was there once when the cameras panned around to the Club Level and Steve Perry was leading the singing in the crowd like a madman.

Ha ha, my brother in law’s in one. They hate doing that one, but it’s a floor filler. It’s evolved into a monster, hasn’t it. They do Who’s Crying Now and Faithfully. Used to do Ask The Lonely too, but not for a long while now.

Glee using Don't Stop Believing did wonders for their career.

It was like what Peter Kay did for Tony Christie with Is This The Way To Armarilo.

I'm a big Thunder fan' and although Coverdales a great frontman he did need a bit of help with the vocals' Thunder were the best by a mile they never disappoint live.

Thunder are brilliant shame singer Danny Bowes can’t perform after a fall and a stroke , he does a show on Planet Rock but from what he’s said he’s a long way off getting back on stage
