Bloke I was talking to a few weeks back, said he was coaching the team which plays there.
He also said BFC had e mailed at least 3 times asking permission to use this ground, when our previous owners were looking to move away from Oakwell.
    Imagine going there
Like I say it is only what I was told, don't know if this is a fact.

I can't see such an important matter being done by email. Then again, Conman was in charge so it would have saved on a stamp or a coffee at Parkgate Macdonalds.

Probably used the fax which explains why he didn't get a reply ;)

Millmoor - great place for having bricks and bags of urine nonchalantly lobbed at you over a wall with no police intervention at all. Smashing.

Yeah as a stadium, it was definitely 'of its time'.

The New York is great though.

Millmoor Lane was frightening back in the 70s and 80s when 5 or 6000 (maybe more) Reds fans were crammed down there into the away end. Remember a crush coming out after one game, a cup tie I think, as a small 14 year old squashed into someone’s back and my feet not touching the ground. Really scary at the time.
