Computer language settings help

    My computer at work keeps changing it's keyboard language to US. Well I assume it does because the £ sign keeps disappearing and the @ and " (I think) keep swapping round.

    Problem is when I check my keyboard settings all day UK. Everything I can see in the control panel shows UK as default, language, reason, everything. There are no other language packs showing as installed.

    Yet in the bottom corner of the screen where it says ENG next to the clock (is that the language bar?) It says US or UK and sometimes US is selected, sometimes it's UK.

    Any clues at all because I'm out of ideas

    I have same issue as I have UK keyboard here in Singapore.

    Every windows update try and force US Keyboard on me.

    Just install and uninstall US language pack , thats what I have to do now and again

    Job done
