So we shouldn’t have an opinion on the ref then? As a former referee I take a particular interest, however, I still basically want the same as everyone else and that’s consistency, because with that you get fairness to both teams, whether the ref makes mistakes is irrelevant because that happens in every game. I still say the majority of posts on here that berate referees do not blame them for the result if we lose.
Not at our best, but an excellent away win nonetheless. Scoring four goals away from home with four different goalscorers and none from Cole, Kane & Phillips shows we're not dependent on any one player to notch. Kane was my MOTM.
Honourable mention to Grant, who looked very assured when he came on. Hopefully another gem unearthed.....
Absolutely brilliant result today. I was concerned and less confident when I saw that neither Cadden nor McAtee were playing, but to no avail. I’d just set off out to walk the dog when they got their second and by the time I got back we had won 4-2. Am I right in reading their player that got red-carded had only just come on as a sub?
It feels like we've stepped up a gear. We've had a few false starts, beating Stevenage then dropping points against Peterborough and Wigan, putting in a good performance at Oxford then losing against Exeter, a decent display against Bolton and then nearly missing out againt Orient, I think those two late goals gave us a bit of belief. I think there's a confidence now that wasn't there earlier in the season.
Didn't catch the sending off or the 4th goal cos my stream froze, so first time I've seen this. Can't believe O'Keefe got booed everytime he touched the ball afterwards, what did he do exactly? Their commentary called it a 50/50 challenge? It wasn't even a challenge.
Agreed mate, I said in another post last week that we are probably a better side than we give them credit for, and the lads are proving it week in week out at the moment.......the table doesn’t lie as they say
Seems that way, but given the rebuild in the defence and a new Head Coach probably understandable. Also, confidence amongst the fans as well.
He jumped into him on the touchline. It was a nothing challenge, certainly not one that would have caused any harm or injury to Wheeler. He just lost his head and kicked out.
