Is the fact he's gone helping the team in performance and squad harmony? Discuss.

He's not good enough to get in the team in front of Connell, Kane, or Phillips.

I don't think his music has particularly affected the team either way, I see the current squad more musically attuned to Zayn or Liam Payne.

Made no difference as we were still winning when he was around.

This, not a good enough central midfielder to get in our 11 not better than cadden at wing back

    No.

    He wasn’t disliked.

We weren’t losing games left right and centre with him in the squad and team.

He wouldn’t get in the team anyway - though yesterday he may have played left wing back.

We aren’t missing him, but he wasn’t a bad egg and he wasn’t the worst player either, certainly not as poor as some would paint him on here.

If Sunderland don’t take up their option and he comes back, it isn’t the end of anyone’s world. Though I do hope they do buy him - or someone else does. It’s a saga that went on long enough. And it isn’t all his doing.

I don't think he will have been a particularly bad apple or caused any problems but he didn't want to be here and didn't seem to be giving his all in matches which will inevitably hurt morale a little as it must be frustrating for those who are trying so getting shut is best for everyone.

Although he stated that he wanted to leave, it's been widely reported that his attitude in training and in general continued to be first-class. I've got no reason to disbelieve that.

I suspect he will be moved on in the summer even if it means lowering our current valuation of him. I doubt that it will be to Sunderland though.

I don’t think he’s made any difference. He would still be a useful squad player for when Cadden or a central midfielder is unavailable or needs replacing.

The big difference has been the upgrade at centre back with Earl & Pines joining. It was the one weakness in our side. We’ve now got top quality league one players in every position when everyone’s fit like against Derby

Don’t go, Tykeored. We need you!! Agree about Sunderland though. Had a night out there once, not been back since.

He had a falling out with James Norwood, but I guess that's irrelevant now.

His major problem seems to be he’s marketed as a versatile player that can play in many positions, but he’s not really consistently very good in any of them. Wherever he goes, it seems to be the same feedback. “Not really sure where his best position is”
