Apparently kept up their promotion push yesterday with a 2-1 victory, whilst Barnsley further cemented their play off place with a victory at Wycombe.
I didn't realise the media discounted league tables and points systems in favour of their superior knowledge.
Now unless there's some underhanded pre arranged match fixing happening that I'm not privy to then it must be bias ignorant reporting or we are due a points deduction they know of, it does get tiresome but plays beautifully into our hands.

It was interesting to hear one of the Derby players saying last Saturday wasn’t a disaster because Bolton lost as well. Mad that we’re not being taken seriously with the players we’ve got and the run we’re on.

If we win Tuesday we’ll stop being ignored surely?!?

Let us stay under the radar, also we don't want any manager of the month awards.

The media bias against us should be used by the club as a motivational tool for both players and fans. The fact the pillock on sky sports news managed to mention the Derby loss last week without mentioning us at all despite mentioning every other promotion contender and the effect the defeat had on them when we were the team that not only beat them but also benefitted most from Derby and Boltons losses was a feat of oral gymnastics of the highest order. We are and always will in the eye of the media be little old Barnsley to be patted on the head in a condescending manner every now and then when they can't avoid mentioning us. But to be honest it just makes any success we have all the sweeter.

Excellent- keep it under the radar! Bolton and Derby have more pressure on them which is good for us

Tbh the way I read it, is not so much uncomplementary, but fact.
    1. Peterborough pushing for promotion does not mean automatic.
    2. Barnsley cementing their place in the play offs. (Who would argue that point) and does not mean we are out of the automatics.

In our hands. Regardless of what happens Tuesday. I'd rather have the points on the board but because of the two games in hand the Bolton fixture won't define our season.

It will be the 12 games after that.

Really not bothered about media reports. What matters to me is that we stand a good chance of going up either automatic (very hopeful of this) or via play-offs. What is reported by Sky, BBC, etc is irrelevant. What matters is that Neil Collins and the squad keep performing like they are doing. If they can continue in the current vein, I think that our first championship in 69 years is on. This is not hubris. We may not go up, but I'd rather have our current squad and form than any of our contenders.

Spot on top post. I think we got caught up in the wave your scarfe and rah, rah, rah last season along with Forest Green beating Wednesday. Took our eye off the ball and lost away at Exeter. Just carry on going about our business.

If we lose against Bolton won't we be 6 points behind with 1 game in hand?

What's a mere oversight now and again? What if we draw? :p

Personally I think the head coach is doing a great job ,keeping the boys grounded and just take each game as it comes.
The game tomorrow will not define our season.
Like SD says ,it will be the next 12, with only one game really worries me which we don't expect to win away at Pompey.

After tomorrow, there are only 11 games left...

We have the potential to win all 12 - including beating Bolton tomorrow. We probably won't, but I don't think there are any games left to fear. Obviously, we'll beat Bolton and Portsmouth easily and then mess it up when we lose at Carlisle and at home against Cheltenham. That's how we roll.
