They said this for the Derby match, but there were loads of empty seats near us. They can’t all have been season tuc When I was living down there I gave Waddinho my season ticket 3 times in a year for games I wasn’t coming up for. Firstly the 4-3 win over Southampton in the Premiership, cos I was on that stupid wedding retreat. Then I couldn’t make the Liverpool Premiership game, that I understand was a bit spicy. And then there was a Friday night game live on Sky that I didn’t want to take time off work for, when the landlord of the pub near my office off Marylebone High Street (who was from Barnsley himself, although he was a Sheffield United fan, claiming he used to play for them), said he’d put it on the big screen upstairs for me and Slacki. Waddinho called me at half-time, to thank me for a trio of exciting games…just after the 6th goal went in! Not a bad trio of games to give him then!
Does it really matter sold out not sold out? Obviously all seats available to be sold have been sold, end of, it's becoming a more annoying version of attendence FC bickering over a few empty seats here and there. All that matters is 3 big big points COYR
The Derby match had a shortage of turnstile operators due to illness. Not sure if there's been an issue at other games
