Yeah it did come across a bit harsh and I feel a bit foolish now. I think its because I expect so much from him that I was so disappointed by his performance on Saturday, but one swallow doesn't a summer make. I take it back, Luca in!!

Of our present squad, I'd say that only Williams, Styles & Russell have proven themselves at Championship level.
Beyond that, I agree with the posts that are saying players such as Kane, Connell, Mael, Earl, Phillips & Pines have good potential.
If we get promoted, it'll be a different squad but (to answer the question) I'd give our current lot a puncher's chance & 10-20% chance of survival :)

Mcatee, Roberts, not ours. Kane, Cole, Williams and Cadden? all out of contract.
Whatever happens this season, next season will be another rebuild and has history shows we aren't always the best at them

Has always been so in modern times. I trust the board to make better decisions & we have the deadwood off the books that Conway signed in Iseka & Oulare. The money we'd make out of being in the Championship would give us a fighting chance, no more, no less. If we are still in L1 the financial chasm will be greater next season & we'd still be without the players listed. Moving Styles on might help, but we won't get £2 million for him. We might possibly keep Williams & Cadden on new contracts, but it's likely all 4 you list may get better offers that we can't match in terms of wages, signing on fees. I think it's unlikely we'll be able to sign Roberts or McAtee either, but I think our back 3 should be good enough to step up & Connell & Philips I think would do well.

No one ever said it would be easy supporting BFC. We just get on with it though. I still love watching us.

I don't think so imo, not much between our relegated from the champ squad and this one,( I'd go as far saying I think that squad was better) would need a few quid spent on it to compete imo

Don't quite get the Connell love in.
No goals, no assists, 1 red (equal 1st) 5 yellows (joint 5th). Plus a god awful accent.
    What am I missing?

Not hit the heights this season, not really surprising considering what he was out with. Absolute quality last season and hopefully can get that form back

He's getting closer though; couldn't hit the woodwork last season.
