No complaints Clear penalty Hanging on for last 20 mins , Robert’s saved us so many times and was only a matter of time Still in our own hands
Absolutely. Very frustrating, but we can't complain. A decent first hour or so, cancelled out by very poor game management for the final 40 minutes, and some heroic goalkeeping from the best goalkeeper in the league. Nothing changes other than we've a game less to navigate. Onto Lincoln.
Bolton fans singing 2 0.up.amd you ****** it up , but tbh I don't think we did. We were the better team for the majority of the match, we just allowed ourselves to get penned back too much after switching off for their first goal. I think that song was sung more in relief they'd not thrown 3 points away. Onwards amd upwards!
We were very evenly matched last season, and again this season. I think we play the better football, but they’ve a knack of grinding a point out. The table doesn’t lie.
Thought their No.8 Josh Sheehan was excellent for them in 2nd half and ran the game. Probably a fair result overall.
Can’t agree with that. Bolton were well in the game first half and arguably unfortunate to be behind at half time. After Vic scored for them we didn’t have another kick. They more than deserved their point and as I said on the matchday thread, poor game management by making a very negative substitution ended up costing us. Us being the better side for the majority of the match was not the game I saw. In the end we won’t be happy with a point given we were 2-0 up and the lateness of the equaliser but in the cold light of day they should reflect that it is a hard earned point against a side who’s performance might have got all three on another night.
OK, I agree they deserved a draw but we looked lively up to about 60 mins and wete defending well which Is the majority of the match.
Im with Helen here, we were the better side until they scored, then we werent and were hanging on A draw was probably about fair - unlike at their place where we were undoubtedly the better side. Just Irks losing 2 points in the 7th minute of added time to a Penalty we would never have been given, and one they wouldnt have got if the ref had given the foul on Cosgrove which was far more blatant and led to them launching an attack instead of us faffing around by their corner flag
Agreed, they were barely a threat before the goal and their goal kick set up was comical - like watching piss heads on a Sunday morning, they scrapped it in the 2nd half.
Marginally better for an hour, then shown up in the final 40 mins. One dimensional rubbish. Collins needs to come up with a better Plan B than that or we're fu¢ked.
