Anyone on here heading to Dharamsala for the 5th test match in India? I'm off alone & would be good to catch up with anyone who is venturing out there.

Good luck mate, forecast on Thursday is 2C with snow and hail! -4 at night!

Is this unusual for the time of year there? Can't believe cricket is set to be played in these temps! Next couple of weeks looks like 8C is the max temp.

I think “chop” is over there now.
He posted on the India England test series thread at end of January to say he was due to go on 7 day tour including cricket

Hi mate. Currently in Delhi on fans charter up tomorrow evening. We are staying outside Dharamsala with coach in each day. I’m on a gullivers tour so bus to and from stadium. Are you on an organised tour or booked yourself.

I live in Hong Kong, so on a whim booked a flight to Delhi and onward to Dharamsala - so am not with a tour group. Head out later today. Weather forecasts seem hit and miss up in the sticks where Dharamsala is, and latest forecasts have it getting a lot warmer (fingers crossed). @chop - will send you a DM after I get there. Really looking forwrd to this - photos of the stadium look amazing and it's YJB's 100th test!

Walked straight past our vehicle. Hopefully the picture works. On second safari saw a sloth bear.

Wow! Almost identical to our experience. Including spotting a baloo on our second safari. P1010201.JPG

As far as I know, I’ve never met anyone on this forum but I’ll know it’s you when I meet a sloth in the Mount

View from the ground. Not a good day cricket wise but lovely place. Feel lucky to be here. Sport is something that can make or break our day, trust me I’m not happy with our performance today but those Mountain View’s give you some perspective.
