Lincoln are unbeaten in 10 games, 5 wins and 5 draws, during which they have conceded just 3 goals. Oh, for a defensive record like that! I said to someone at half-time v Bolton that I was concerned that Bolton had lost their last two away games and teams at the top end of the table wouldn't normally lose a 3rd consecutive away game. As though it were Fate intervening, they duly got a 98th minute equaliser. I am now clinging to the hope that Lincoln's superb recent defensive record is due for a severe dent on Saturday.
Bit of a bogey side for us since turn of millennium we’ve played em 5 times - 2 draws 3 defeats. On a plus note they’ve lost every away game this season to top 5 (barring us - YET)
Hope they don't go parking the bus like the boring, nothing to play for team they were last season at Sincil Bank against them. I think with a good home crowd behind us we will win by two or three goals.
That game at Lincoln last season was one of the worse games I’ve ever seen with a manager wanting to be a League 1 version of Neil Warnock. To be fair, the game this season was on the other end of the spectrum. Their new manager didn’t seem to sit back at the time. I do think we’ll edge it though. They haven’t beaten a top six side this season and only beaten Orient above them.
