Great addition Pines.....not the best footballer I've seen but exactly what we have been missing.
Strong, pretty quick and aggressive in the air and in the contact.
He can certainly stop the opposition playing thats for sure.

Our defence is too shaky and not as good as some would have us believe. Pines is scoring goals, but he's a defender and defensively so far he can be make you really nervous watching, especially when he lets the ball bounce. Not sure who we'd "drop" but I would give McCart a game and see if that starts getting us clean sheets. If he was at Rotherham he'd be getting more game time and they are in an higher league. It looks like a case of playing our own. If one of Pines, MDG or Earl were only on loan and McCart was our player, I think he'd be getting more starts.

Pines was shaky in his first game. And looking like a lost child 1st half.
At Wycombe he was more assured.
Last night he was even better.

I reckon we've got the right combination now with 3 very good central defenders. And McCart if needed.

I wasnt sure about MDG. But he's coming on in leaps and bounds.
    Earl looks a cut above.

Pines would have been lonesome in the blue ridge mountains of Virginia
