    spends last 3 or 4 games avoid tackles to prevent a a booking then gets one for chelping abart placement of a free kick.

    The irony was that the referee was wrong on the placement of the ball for the free kick. It should have been about five yards closer.

    Only thing I don’t fully understand is why we took him off when he’s going to get a 2 match ban now anyway. Would have surely been better to take off Connell.

    I don’t remember him getting booked but it’s on every match report so must have done.

    Thought he was poor today but wasn’t on his own in that regard. We will miss him in these 2 games but at least he’ll be fresh for Pompey.

    He was taken off because he was the worst player on the pitch. He was absolutely awful.

    And given the competition for that accolade, that is pretty incredible.

    I'd love to see the passing stats because l reckon our back three had the most passes, neither Kane or Connell wanted the ball. All our play should be through those two.

    If we had a proper team he wouldn’t sit out games to suit. He should miss then and then have to impress to get back in but we don’t have a squad for that.
