What a worrying state of affairs.

 

Can't blame Collins.Too many traffic cones on the pitch today. That let us down. 3 or 4 of their 5 goals were walked in. Scandalous defending. Off we go again tuesday and hopefully get it out of the system.

 

You’re the ‘get him off’ guy who sits behind me aren’t you? You must be. We’d have -3 players left on pitch every match if he had his way. (Actually I know you’re not because he particularly despises Williams and he definitely would have been mentioned.)

 

The thing is though, it's every time we have a bad result. They all crawl out of the woodwork demanding the manager being sacked. Its tiresome. They've been quiet for weeks, months even. Then the minute we have a horrible result they're back.

That's why it warrants this response. I've run out of patience with them.

 

We all get pissed off and we're all Barnsley fans. I always think if we were having conversations like this in the pub face to face we'd all be more measured though.

Never been a fan of collins football. I've said in previous posts it's moments that have seen us through.

Collins is a great guy. I just don't like the playstyle.

Today was on the players though. It was like they couldn't be arsed. Worst I've seen for a long long time. Players running through them like a game of fifa. I get we all have off days but today was awful.

It’s football, and league 1 football at that. These things happen, unfortunately.

Don’t think he should be out one little bit. Just think we have overperformed until today and it’s caught up with us today when we have put in subpar performance and given an indication that automatics are beyond us once again this season.

How many times have we gone behind and come back to win this season was always going to catch us out eventually. We don’t look anything like a side that should go up automatically and I no longer think we could via the playoffs either. Just have too many inconsistent players.

Love how we've gone from the negative of "never won a game when we've gone behind" to winning loads of coming back, but that's now spun into how many times have we gone behind.
Lets be straight, there's absolutely nothing inaccurate in your post we have gone behind far too many times than ideally liked.
Personally I feel like this could be a blessing and you probably alluded to it, in a round about way, it's been on the cards, but how some of our fanbase process a defeat is almost bipolar esk at times.

Yet re-read your opening post... I swear certain posters on here only 'vent' when we lose to rile up other people into a response and then they get their wish with the upcoming arguments/being able to tell the BBS how crap the players & staff are etc etc... if we hadn't just gone nearly half the season unbeaten then I'd get the frustrations more. But posts like this after our run of form is mental.

Collins was going livid with the defence from the start and despite his "guidance" from the dugout it was as though McCart and others lost any kind of positional awareness and pace to keep up with the Lincoln attack. The first goalscorer was given the time, space and freedom of Oakwell as McCart and others were making a laboured run to get back. Later the lincoln players were always first to the ball and won the tackle to run with pace through our defenders and score. Frankly it became embarrassing.... Collins ought to bring them in on Sunday, watch a replay of the game and ask them what if they were happy with their contribution to the game...
