We're they that good or was it just we still had our heads down from the Bolton game. People blew smoke up Bolton saying they got back into it with been a top side but they lost again today so did we. Had we held on against Bolton I think today would have been totally different. Need to pick ourselves up and fast. Bit of a worry missing kane aswell for 2 games now.

They’ve absolutely thrashed us. Take nothing away from them. An absolute humiliation IMO. But we’ve been every bit as bad as they’ve been good.

So they did mate last time I looked quite late on they were 2-1 down but yes your right. Rest of my point still stands though. There not that good we tried to defend a 2 goal lead and made them look better than they are.

I thought Lincoln worked hard getting bodies forward but looked a good, defensive unit too.

As opposed to our defensive unit that was all over the place. Couple that with our inability to put a tackle in whilst they were dribbling with the ball, we defended like school kids. With no disrespect to the boys and girls at school!

I thought Kane was very poor today. I agree with you about the psychological impact of Bolton's late equaliser. If we'd held on for the win on Tuesday, I think the players would have had a real spring in their step today.

Just did the basics really, really well. Worked hard, looked for space, tried to be first to every ball, marked runners. Not rocket science.

Their defence was outstanding. Gives them a massive platform to build from.

Cadden was off it, so was Williams, and as for the Frenchman?, well were do you start?, hope Collins can turn this round quickly, we need 8 wins from 10 to make automatics for me

Thought the same. Problem there was wayward crosses or nobody in the box.

Good luck with the 8 wins from 10. It’s the play offs again I’m afraid. Can’t help feeling our lack of squad depth is going to catch up with us….

When our plan A doesn't work we really struggle to break teams down and at the same time look wide open in midfield and defensively, so Lincoln didn't really have too much to worry about today.

It's a bit of both for me, take nowt away from Lincoln, they were backed by a couple thousand and played well, good organisation at the back and disciplined in the press but my gosh we were awful. I can't recall ever watching a Barnsley defence struggle to make a tackle and today they basically allowed the Lincoln players to run through almost unopposed. It was horrible to watch.

Said this to my lad at the game. There's no alternative option to how we play but having a pretty poor bench doesn't help Collins either.

I agree with Redrum below that Cadden was decent in the first half. Went past their defender on numerous occasions. Crossing was a bit off but he did pick out Cole for a decent chance.

Thought Earl wasn’t quite at it today and MDG had a bit of a shocker. Not sure where McCart was for the first goal.

At times Kane and Phillips were playing so advanced, we only had Connell in the centre - they win the ball back and boom game over. Sheite.

I thought that too. Our central defenders were passing it between themselves, with the odd pass to the wing backs, and the only midfielder showing for the ball was Luca. I know he’s the deeper of the 3 so you would expect that but Kane is good enough to be getting on the ball and dictating play.

With Kane being suspended now we could have a similar issue as Grant looks like he’d rather be a number 10 than a number 8.
