That was the first film. The sequels were Going Steady, Hot Bubblegum, Private Popsicle, Baby Love…and I think there were several more, but me and my mates had drifted away from them by then. When I was in my mid-teens I lived in the town centre and had the house to myself most of the time, so our house became a sort of youth club. One of my mates even arranged a date with someone and used our house as the meeting place. I was having my dinner when he turned up out of the blue. Was a bit awkward!

But the videos we used to rent would either be video nasties (till the Tory ***** banned them) or the Lemon Popsicle films. Not only were the latter funny and, er, full of things that, er, appealed to teenage boys, the music in them was ace too. Ah for the days when video shop owners would quite happily rent films like Cannibal Holocaust, SS Experiment Camp or Jewish 50s set sex comedies to 14 year old kids!

Btw, speaking of the Sicario films, here's a weird fans review about Emily's character (spoiler alert!!!).

Wasn't Evil Dead 2 a remake of the original? Army of Darkness was the *much better* sequel...

Said above but Terminator 2 was better than Terminator. Matrix films got gradually worse not better.
Most sequels are worse than the originals I think because the corporates simply want to cash in and exploit the good feeling generated by the original film

Aliens for me. One of the best films ever made. I'm surprised nobody has mentioned "Where we're going we don't need wheels!"

Wow, I can't believe all of these upcoming 80s & 90s film sequels...
We've got Titanic 2, and Scarface 2, and Van Helsing 2 (amongst others).
So which is going to be a good film ehh, and which is going to be a flop lol!.

The last Matrix film is absolute garbage. A film made just for the sake of making a film to try and cash in on the franchise name.
