A couple of Reform MPs (and I think that's all they'd get) would be a small price to pay for the total evisceration of the tories, in my opinion. After so many years of having the centre/left vote split to their advantage, I'd love to see them get a taste of their own medicine.
Trouble is there's a lot of folk in Britain who like what Lee Anderson says. Its all Muslim extremists, immigrants pinching a living and 'British values' being ruined by lefty woke nutters. How do you convince these people that Anderson et al are moronic divisive twa.ts without being patronising?
Bottom line is that rhetoric like Anderson spouts deflects from real issues that impact peoples' livelihoods every day. Its a diversion tactic because the right have no real solution to any major problems. Picking on minorities is easy, lazy and irrelevant. But, when people have no hope and feel abandoned stuff like this strikes a chord because there's no clear alternative solution being explained or suggested.
Exactly that, split the tory vote which will lose them even more seats and give Labour a massive majority. I can but hope!
Exactly what happened in Barnsley when 1000s voted for Brexit Party. Obviously Labour got in but Brexit party weren't far behind. Whether people voted for first time ever, we won't know, but could have been squeaky but time for Labour that year. Brexit Party got 11,000, as opposed to Labour at 14,000
How on earth do you go from campaigning with Jeremy Corbyn to the Reform party via the Tories in about 7 years? Barmy
Sadly, as much as I hope your prediction comes true, polling suggests that if Reform pick their targets carefully they might just take a few seats off the Tories.
You’d have thought they would have picked up better support in Rochdale but tanked then blamed Galloway intimidation for their poor showing . Think in some Conservative areas they’ll get some votes but not enough to win
Because a lot of politicians are in it for themselves, regardless of which party they are for. Genuine politicians are few and far between... sadly.
