Remember losing 0-5 to Birmingham when Claridge scored a load.

One of very few times I sat in the East Stand.

Got our own back a few years later, scoring all 5 in second half I think - 4 for Davis?

Our day will come against the Imps. They were rivals of ours when I first started watching us in the old Division 4 days.

And also the possession and passing stats. We had almost 70% possession and twice as many passes as Lincoln. I’m not sure if they’re counting passes to the opponents in those stats,

To be fair, if they'd put away the other chances they created it wouldn't have been 1-5 either.

That's true but the vast majority of our passes were between our back three and goalkeeper In fact between the back three of earl, de gevigney and Mccart and Liam Roberts, over the entire match they made a pass every 18.9 seconds according to the stats websites.

I seem to remember being 1-5 down at home to MK Dons, think it was season before we went up. It was only the fact that Houriane scored two worldies at the end to make it 3-5 that gave the score some respectability

Didn't we lose away at Huddersfield 3-0 in 95-96 and absolutely battered them?

We absolutely battered Tranmere at their place in 93 or 94 and lost 6-1. Sometimes teams get lucky...

I was there that night.I think we had something like 20= goal attempts to Tranmeres 6/7.
It was hard convincing people that we were the best team that night, but we were.

I lived at Shotton at the time, so it was the local game. Sat in the Tranmere stand in silence for the entire match then had to go back and get all my workmates taking the mick out of me the next day...
