As i say just a rumour Apparently Liam Roberts did not travel on the team bus this morning with squad. Maybe Injured? Or maybe getting picked up a bit closer to Carlisle if he still lives Middlesbrough way who knows All bloke said was Roberts did not get on the Team Bus this morning ♂️
Not as indirect as Middlesbrough to Carlisle via Barnsley. I assume he's meeting the team at the ground if he still lives in Middlesbrough?
According to Google Maps, the quickest route is Barnsley M1 - A1 - Scotch Corner - A66 - Penrith - M6 - Carlisle. 2 hours 45 minutes 143 miles. Diverting to the centre of Middlesborough adds ~30 miles and 45 minutes. It would make it slightly slower and longer than going across Woodhead or the M62, but if Roberts still lives in the area it makes sense to pick him up at Scotch Corner.
Not necessarily. If I was heading up to Carlisle I'd motor up the A1 to Scotch Corner to pick up the A66 to Penrith and a short stretch of the M6 up to Carlisle. Middlesbrough's close enough to Scotch Corner to make it doable.
Heard on the grapevine that young Ravehill is on the bench so sounds like Roberts is not in the squad
Neill has turned the hipsterball up to 11 - out pepping Pep - and decided our new plan B is O'Keeffe playing goalie wag as a false number one. Goalkeepers are so last season
He's been playing with an injury for the last two games as far as I could tell. Left hamstring if I had to guess. I reckon he's been given tonight off to prepare for Portsmouth.
I heard he was last seen with the Princess of Wales but that might have been a poorly Photoshopped picture
I've tried to forget a lots of things about last Saturday but did he get treatment or go down injured at some stage? Or was that the Bolton game? Or have i imagined it? Sure it happened in one of the matches
