    We really didn't tow tonight. Gave away stupid goals at the start and end of the game but other than that looked fully two divisions better than Carlisle. Which hopefully come the end of the season will be.

    Also one of the teams above us has to drop points on Saturday. We're having a blip at the minute, but that happens to all teams. Yet we've still come through it with a slightly shaky win, a disappointing draw and a freak result of a loss, something that just happens sometimes. Beat Cheltenham on Saturday (which I fully expect us to) and we're right back in it.

    I think in the cold light of day , we will look back on that as a pretty decent performance , with the edge taken off ( which unfortunately happens to us too often ) by odd errors at both ends, today up front the odd missed ( golden) chance or careless offside. Then in defence careless marking for the first , then getting carried away pushing for a fourth and getting careless at the back again.

    I think we are nailed on for a top 6 position and that's what we were all hoping for at the beginning of the season remember we sold our defense.

    It's a strange thing though.

    We win, and win, and hardly ever move.

    Drop or point or lose we seem to drop 2 places or summat.

    We looked a level above Carlisle tonight and so we should but yet again we give away awful goals and go behind and then when we get in front we struggle to control or kill the game off which tells me we won’t be getting promoted this season .

    Wingers and full backs and I'm sure we would see a more solid team. The formation is set in stone tho unfortunately.

    Wingbacks not good enough to attack and defend.
