Yep. Guessing it will be back to Williams as right centre back, which weakens us at right wing back too.
Last 4 we've let a least 2 goals in a game.. so if we don't score 3 or above we don't win.. must improve its nowhere good enough.
It would be great to think we could go and shut out Portsmouth and sneak a goal but do we try to take them on and just try to outscore them?
I've a lot of sympathy for Collins, given the defence we have. Most of the goals that I have seen have come from rank bad individual play. The first goal last night was poor from both MDG and Earl. I see a lot of praise for both of those players, but also see a lot of poor defending or errors from them that lead to goals. I'd consider moving to a back 4, with 2 holding midfielders. Would cut the space in behind the wing backs, and offer more protection.
Is it stick or twist..We're not awfully good at shutting teams out tho are we.. but on the other hand when we go for the throat we also get done on the break.. We've had this same defensive problem all season..
Based on what we've had this season.. yes an improvement. But compared to what we've seen in past recent season.. yet to be convinced..
We'll need to score at least 3 to beat Pompey. We'll have to deal with the goal start we give every team and then we'll have to come back from their penalty.
