I guess we are happy with the existing amount of season tickets we sell and don't want any new fans.
That explains why the west stand will stay till it falls down

Slight increase ? I wouldn't call a £65 price jump to sit in ponty a slight increase

£25 increase for me. Not too bad, I guess. The 'last 3 seasons' thing for early bird renewals is a decent offer.

Big increases them. Don't remember what it was last season but nothing like £399.

They should extend the Early Bird pricing if we're to be promoted. It would be a fantastic opportunity to get fans who have come to watch the latter parts of the season to commit on the back of success but £500 or upwards for an adult tempers the appeal.

Also, I love that 'A guaranteed seat at Oakwell for all 23 home league fixtures' is now listed as a selling point of a season ticket

I paid £350 last year, it's £379 this. Not too bad in fairness

I can see a big decrease in kids tickets being sold this time round. I have 3 kids tickets...a couple of mine only go to maybe 3/4 matches max a season so no point in me keeping 2 of those tickets now really.

It was £350 last season wasn't it? Or at least that's what I paid on the early bird, it's £379 this year.

It's not for my ageing knees, but when's the safe standing area coming in?

And is that what the price increase across the stadium is to fund?

    So the key points really

    For early bird renewals:
Under 14s tickets have increased by £19 (190%)
Adult, young adults and senior tickets have increased by £29 except the adult tickets in upper tiers which are £24 increase (a typing error maybe?)
Under 19s have increased by £14
Early bird period last season was 61 days and 2 pay days for monthly paid people, this season it's 44 days and one.

Full price tickets have gone up slightly less, around £22-26 per ticket

Wouldn't have thought so. Given that the price of just about everything has rocketed the last couple of years, these increases are minimal.

I'd guess the club are trying to get the balance right in offering really good value kids tickets to encourage the next generation and trying to stamp out where these are either not being used or are used as additional space for existing season ticket holders. It particularly comes as a problem when there's a big game and there are lots of empty seats in East Stand and Ponte that could potentially have been sold. £29 is still excellent value in reality I think.
