    Mullins had 5 in a 7 runner race and they finished in top five positions.
    Can’t be good for racing .. can it ?

    Like a novice hurdle at Catterick. 4/9 shot wins by half the track.

    And it's only gonna get worse when they up it to five days.

    Nicholls and Henderson don't campaign their horses to take on the Mullins hot pots anymore. They'd much rather have five timers at Wincanton and Taunton on a Tuesday and Wednesday.

    Things will only improve when Mullins starts sending his horses over on a Saturday and takes their bread and butter winners off them.

    It's just the sheer number of different races.

    There's 7 in the next and 6 in the Queen Mother. All because there's daft in-between races like the Turners and Ryanair.

    None of the days sold out - prices of tickets and food/drink through the roof.

    Grumpy today me.

    Go back to three days and drop the intermediate races (i.e. 2M 4F). They won't though - money talks. Just hope they never go to five days.

    They've basically cheated all winter, hunting round at the back of the field.

    Ruby classic just then - "I thought he was a 140 horse, turns out he's a 155 horse - Please take note Mr Handicapper!"

    But he comes alive in the spring?! Yeah, these grey skies, heavy ground and freezing temperatures make me come alive in the spring too.
