Just been down to Worsbro and my pass is no longer valid, although they did allow me in. You have to register your details on BMBC.gov.uk and choose which option you want.

Just had a look and they want a copy of your V5 uploading to prove your address before you get a new permit.

Mines a lease car so I don’t have a V5. I just take my DL with me to show proof of address.

That might prove difficult for me as I no longer live in BMBC but get asked by my elderly mother to take stuff to smithies hmmm that's gonna be a pain

I went to the Tip at Worsboro' a few years ago with a car full. One of then guys even helped me empty my car. Just as I was getting in my car to leave, he asked me for my proof of address! I duly supplied proof, but asked him what he would have done had I not had any proof. Put the stuff back in the car???:):)

Yeah that sounds tricky, based on the rules. Worth giving em a bell. I guess there’s other people in the same boat.

Been happening down here in Pompey since Covid, best thing they did, very little in the way of queuing, at first I thought it was a poor idea but tbh most people I know are glad ot changed,

Surely queues are a good thing, less fly tipping?

You can go to the one near Rotherham without proof of who you are….

We’ve had it down here for a couple of years, it tends to work ok and the tip is never too busy

Never noticed, read, heard on local news about an increase due to this tbh, people can still get rid of rubbish, I'm not saying Fly tipping would decrease or increase up there by doing this but I'd like to think councils speak to each other and get feedback on points like the one you mentioned RH, Sundays were rammed pre covid where many including myself just turned around , but now you can get a slot on a Sunday and you're not waiting in a queue for a decade lol, ( providing you book in time)

I'm going to sound a bit stupid but if recycling centres are suddenly not used as much as they were isn't that a bad thing? People are still generating rubbish that must be going somewhere
