Really enjoyed his commentary on Tuesday. One of my ex-colleagues knew his brother, said he's a top lad but took his beer a bit more seriously than his football.
Up there with Brian MCcord as player we really wanted to sign after a great loan spell then wasn’t half the player he was when he signed permanently
Uncanny. Portsmouth in the news recently & always think of the 4-4 when Lumsdon gets a mention http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_1/1794007.stm
I went to this game I honestly feared for my life walking out of stadium . Pompey fans were going mad
Yes, looking at the squad we had some decent players, Miller, Barker, Chettle, Morgan, Barnard, Dyer and Sheron were all Championship quality, but on the other hand there's some absolute dross there as well, Mulligan, Donovan, Jones, Bertos, Bedeau, Ward, Neil. All useless.
Listened to most of the under the cosh and Chris Lumsdon is brilliant. Comes across as a great lad with a very good story to tell. Definitely worth watching.
That’s a great one. Loved this story just after he played againt Liverpool and Coventry This is another good Crossley story
I don't think Mark Crossley is anywhere near as funny, as he seems to think he is!. But as for that story about Cloughie and David Currie, wow that is disappointing, if it happened like that.
