Yellow away kit was isoft. Funnily enough that's the kit I'd associate with Chris Lumsdon. Big Thing away kit was bright green.
Listened to most of this now, and he's got some good stories. Interesting that it was Jamie Redknapp who essentially got him the move to Oakwell.
I went to Stockport County away , Lumsden was gash and effortless as was a few others. He put 2 fingers up at me when I told him he had a heart as big as a pea. Glyn Hurst was on fire for Stockport that day.
We beat Stockport when Lumsden played? Edited: sorry mate. You're on about the 4 1 2002 2003 match. Just looked up.
That's the one . I started to watch him on under the cosh. Had to swith off. Yes it was funny getting pissed in Barnsleys answer to Ibiza If he was half as good as Taggart when he had been on the piss, there's no problem. But his performances after he signed a contract, (on loan he was outstanding)were embarrassing, and yes its funny for them to laugh about ,which I have done also watching the pod casts. What about the thousands of fans around the country stumping up hard earned cash ,for players unfit due to training pissed. Turn up half hearted and get paid. It's no wonder we lost games. Tony Adams still performed after drinking ,also Paul Mcgrath jumped thru hoops for Jack Charlton. But drinking and not turning up is unacceptable in my opinion, that's why I can't watch this pod cast .
100 percent agree with this. My cousin lost out a place on trial for a team in Scotland. The player who did get the place was a year younger so they turned towards him. This was only 2011. The player they turned to used money to get absolutely hammered every day. My cousin Then turned towards being a p.e teacher and he's still bitter to this day about it
Can't like this enough. It makes my blood boil. Around this period was the drink culture of NZ boys, beast too. But it's a laugh I supose for them.
