Why was the ponty end booing at full time?

Was it the performance or was it at the referee for blowing the whistle?

Just guessing here but maybe it was for the crap lame uninspiring performance of the players.

 

I like a good moan (I know. I hide it well) but I thought we played half decent today. Very little actual quality bit no lack of effort or attempt to attack

 

And the tactics of Collins the guy hasn’t got a plan B

 

Maybe the booing was aimed at the hierarchy showing their displeasure at the woeful recruitment in the summer & January, & the insistence on playing a system that’s clearly not working. I see the fashion icon has had a moan on X, but the fans pay their money, so entitled to boo if they want. I wouldn’t & never have personally.

 

Effort only gets you so far but the lack of quality will keep us in this league for at least another season

JAQ going on X and berating fans for booing is never going to end well.
Booing may not be particularly helpful, but when fans with season tickets, some for 40 years and more, witness another poor display, they've earnt the right to voice that displeasure how they wish, rightly or wrongly. For JAQ to start having a pop about something she knows little about and has perhaps aided happen, is a bit rich.

 

She’s also congratulating Kitching on them getting to Wembley - which I don’t think she’s wrong to do but perhaps let today wash over first. I mean we haven’t really invested what money we got for him the end of the window in August all that well in Jan.

 

So disrespectful calling JAQ a fashion icon (something she hasn't even labelled herself), in the patronising way you do. Never seen you label other owners or staff in such a way. Wonder why

I had a boo at the final whistle. Dog wondered what I was doing.

 

Well first half , there was some really good football played, lacked cutting edge.
Second half was nowhere near with the same tempo ,just could not finish .
Fine margins.
How you could boo them off today was unjustified in my opinion

 

This, a very frustrating afternoon waving goodbye to our chance of automatic promotion. 18 shots witb only 4 on target is a poor stat against a bottom 6 team

 

That was our choice though. We should have leveraged cov if they wanted him so badly to pay the money more upfront the deadline was against them not us.

 

Here's one that I never understand.

We can't buy players because these days clubs all do purchases in installments meaning that even if we've sold players for £10m this year we will only actually have got £1m and the rest is in installments which will come over the coming years.

Fair enough right? Except why do we need loads of cash now to buy players? Surely we only need a small amount to pay the first small installment?

Or is it that 91 clubs insist on it all up front and 1 takes it in small installments?

It always comes across as being a bit of a way to deflect blame for poor signings and appears to be deliberately misleading.
