I’m sick of watching games from sides better than us so that I can see ex- Barnsley players doing well and happily celebrating in front of someone else’s fans.
We pay the same as they do for tickets and yet we are always a third class side. Why do we keep accepting this kind of expectation?
Last year I will accept that Ipswich were better than us, but nobody else was. We can’t even keep a successful manager to build for more than one season.
We are doing OK this year in a league below the one we expect to be in, but I don’t feel we are making progress. I know I’ll get hammered for this and a few games ago I was more optimistic but tonight this is what I think.)”

I kniw what you mean. We went up with Luton and they weren't that much better than us, and Coventry definitely weren't!

Tbf, Kitching, Collins and Morris are the exceptions, for most that leave the grass isn't greener...........well financially it probably is if you're happy not to play.

It’s called a lack of ambition, & poor recruitment policy.

How do you define 'ambition'? Specifically.

When you say we keep accepting it?....I ask you this, what do we do not to accept it?.....it’s our choice whether we go or not mate, I’ve been doing it 53 years. Thick and thin is a good phrase to use maybe. At least we are usually fighting for something at end of seasons whether that be promotion or staving off relegation. Nowt more boring that mid table lol

Nowt wrong with loyalty like yours. I've been going since 70's myself. However, there's nothing wrong with questioning the board's competence or motives. Nothing at all. And, when the performances on the pitch are often dull, nay crap then that questioning is all the more relevant. We all want BFC to win the Champions league at the end of the day (I do) so when performances, recruitment, sales and retention are poor its completely deflating.

I'll address the Elephant in the room. The season might as well finish now.

Playing like we are. We haven't got a prayer of promotion. I'd take seventh and regroup if you offered it me now.

I’m in the same position as you all. First game 1955 remember nowt about it. First game I remember in 1961. Seen some rubbish in those years as well as some great players. Just now though it seems that we have better players with other clubs than our own. I question the dismantling of last years defence. The change of head coach every year and the seeming lack of any strategy for the club. Collins is possibly a good coach and we may need to be patient, but we can’t keep starting again every year. This side is far from Championship quality, that must be obvious to everybody. Last years side may have been.
