If you’ve been fouled and you roll over three times, beat the ground, scream in agony, you have to be subbed, or sent off. You can’t just get up a carry on.

Things like this make me despise footballers. Most are just dishonest to the core and will feign a near-fatal injury to try and get someone sent off. If we can all see this why can’t the football authorities also see it and actually DO something about it?

From now on when I see a match I’m going to see how many I send off.

Intelligent referreing needed. Player rolls over and moans. Referee: I'll have you taken off shall I? We need the game to continue...

The most ridiculous thing on this subject is when a man has gone down and is off the pitch somewhere. Play stops while the physio ambles 70 yards or more to his patient while the ref stands there waiting and holding the game up.

Can someone explain that bit of nonsense because it makes no sense to me

Get up and get on with it. It's the acceptance of such behaviour which will allow the Russians to roll straight through our meek streets.

Dishonesty seems to be a part of the game and had even been normalised of late. Pundits even analyse and discuss the points of cheating as if its a newly developed skill. For example Toneys free kick position, going down in the box, professional fouls

Herbie Kane would only play 5 times a year though.

The premier league has 50 cameras at every angle per game. Simply review the footage of blatant cheating e.g gets caught by a flailing hand on the shoulder and goes down holding face, 5 minutes wasted looking for blood from contact that never happened, review board sends for player who MUST attend to explain his actions. board issues 3 to 5 match immediate ban for cheating..once the clubs start losing star players for vital games it'll stop...while there's no consequence for it it'll get worse..as were seeing..

I keep saying it recently. Football at all professional levels has turned into a game where 22 players try to cheat and con the referee, then we blame the referee.

Because many of these experts used to be players, and that’s what they did too. I never watch a live highlights show for the simple reason that I can FF the waffle to the next bit of action. If it’s an actual live match I just mute the sound until the second half starts

Well said mate. too many ex footballers justifying cheating and using the phrase "It's part of the game" well no It's not unless we turn a blind eye and allow it to become so. also Ref's should be sanctioned for not using the rules..player kicks ball away ref has a word...NO the rules say yellow card so book him. too much interpreting of the laws for fear of upseting big clubs. Classic quote by pundit tthe other day on foul in 1st 5 mins
"The ref would have booked him
for that later in the game" why. do the rules fluctuate in a time warp continuum...al get mi coit..
