Gakpo has been quite underwhelming since his arrival, other than a purple patch or 2. Wouldn't surprise me if he's moved on within the next 18 months to bring in other players. Jota, Salah, Nunez, Elliott, Jones, Diaz, Mac Allister, and then with youngsters making appearances now in Danns, Koumas & Doak, I think he'll be gone with all these attacking players. He'd be a good signing for Newcastle.

I watched a different game. Man u better team in first 30 mins and should've been 2 up. Collapsed after Liverpool equalised and Liverpool were then dominant for most of second half. However, they created little in that half and once man u equalised they were better team. Stats suggest man u had more big chances and higher xG too - 3.3 v 2.

I don’t really think he’s suited to the English game from what I’ve seen. Strikes me as the sort of player that would do well in Serie A

I have a feeling he's one of those players that thrive when they know they're settled and will be picked consistently, if that makes sense. With the amount Liverpool have its like hes always trying too hard, rushing etc. Obviously a good talent but not sure long term he will do it for Liverpool. Unless their new manager changes things when Klopp leaves.

Liverpool scored a couple of flukes with deflections. Rashford messed up a couple of glorious chances by being offside and putting them wide.

I think United were the better side and deserved the win.

Liverpool dominated the ball but looked toothless/wasteful. United attacked with purpose and looked the more dangerous. Deserved to go through IMO.

Both goalies made some great saves, I have always thought goalkeeper are a very underrated talent. Don't cost a lot like an outfield player but can repay in bundles.
