Working on smaller budgets doing better than Neill Collins Steve Evans Richie Wellens Mike Williamson
Yes, he’s the stand out one for me. Interestingly, Lincoln source a lot of players from the Irish league and have found a few gems it seems. We tried it and got Barry Cotter….
Seems to be doing OK at moment TBF. Not sure what budgets at Lincoln are like but I do know the owners are putting money in every year. Quite like look of what Wellens has been doing personally.
Better in what way exactly!. Aren't we as a club with Neil doing better (at the moment) in the League than those coaches mentioned ?.
So your looking for cheaper, which could mean worse then ?. I'm all for saving money if we can, but if a cheaper coach/manager just means lower down in the League table, then what is the point ?.
If you believe Steve Evans is doing “better” than our coach I’d be interested to hear what you base that opinion on.
Finances, money, wages Take a look at the other clubs and how much comparable wage bills are being paid I’m not a fan of Collins and having renewed my season ticket and home performances I’ll be very surprised if we get anywhere near 9400 season ticket sales
The only circumstance where I'd have Evans over Collins would be if the playoffs were decided by the 4 managers going slice for slice at Pizza Hut buffet.
Harsh on Wellens I think. He’s got a decent record as a coach and has Orient playing some good stuff.
Doing better have you seen the league table? As for the budget I wouldn't describe ours as big.A lot of financial holes have had to be filled so theres not been a lot of cash being thrown around.
Should try and tempt Klopp at end of season. Give him some pie and peas at interview and he'll be hooked!
