How does this Cross thingy impact on anyone, on any part of their lives. How in any way is it going affect them?

It’s like me changing your name from Jim to Jeff, it’s not major and no one will lose sleep over it but it’s pointless cos your called Jim not Jeff and Jim wasn’t broke in the first place so why change it to Jeff

How do you ever find anything on there? Every time I've looked for stuff I've failed, "Sorry we couldn't find anything".

I don't get that analogy at all. A person's name is their legal identity from birth, and is enshrined in law. This is the colour of a bit of stitching on a football shirt. Why does something have to be 'broke' in order to change it? There are literally millions of examples of things being cosmetically changed, for one reason or another. They should really have some fun with it next time, I reckon. Spell England in Arabic or summat.

    Nothing to do with that.
The three lions on the England badge grew from the union of the royal families’ use of the lion symbol. King Henry I, Geoffrey Plantagenet, Count of Anjou and King Henry II all opted for a lion on their crests. King Richard would eventually combine the three lions as his official royal symbol, forming the basis for the England crest we see today

    It's not

It's like you having a beard all your life then deciding to shave it off - even though you liked your beard. It's no biggie.

Why, what would he do, try and hit me? Not bothered. He'd miss the target.

Right. I'll take that on board. I'll definitely make sure I stay away from discussing it with Stuart Pearce.

Jesus wept, 9 pages on changing the colour of a cross on a shirt.
That being said, I’m here now and I’ve read most of it.

I see this as no different to Barnsley having a home kit that isn’t mostly red. It’s an unnecessary change in the name of being edgy.
What I don’t get is why anyone thinks there’s some sort of agenda to defile the English flag like it’s some sort of sacrosanct effigy. People who get upset about this are the same type of people who get upset over people drawing a cartoon of Mohammed.
