Not sure. But at the time Thriller. Was in a league of its own.

I used to watch the Country channel on occasion, (not western stuff) . Loved the end of Riba McEntire and linda Davies. 'Does he love you" video. Great song as well.

Girls On Film - Duran Duran. Unedited version.
Another vote for Thriller - Michael Jackson, was like a mini movie, there hadn't been anything like it before.

The first time I saw the Thriller video was in the Frontier nightclub in Batley. The whole club just stopped and watched it.

Regarding the Thriller video, I always remember Lenny Henry doing a send up, he was walking with his girlfriend as the werewolf, then he suddenly turned in to jacko…that’s when she screamed

U2 - All I want is you, and GnR - November rain are both great story telling videos.

As good as Thriller was, I enjoyed Jackos video featuring Eddie Murphy and Iman. Visually sumptuous, 'Remember the time' I think was the song.

Sadly most of my music predates the obligatory video but I quite like the one for Another Brick in the Wall (part 2), which is an excerpt from The Wall (movie) with Nazi style walking hammers etc.

I wish King Crimson had done one for 21st Century Schizoid Man....

If they had’ve done one, you can sort of imagine it featuring the face from the LP it was on !
