With the caveat that I`m always wrong - I think that IF we can finish above The Posh I think we`ll be going up in 2nd place. There - kiss of death!!!
I don't neccessarily disagree with you, but their insistence on playing out from the back, despite clearly not being 100% comfortable doing so will always expose them to freak results. Attacking wise, they're the best side in the division, but will always find playing teams who like to press difficult. I actually wouldn't mind playing them in the play-off semi's, if we got in their faces, they're certainly a side I reckon we could unsettle and beat over two legs. I'm not as confident over Bolton, Derby or given form, Lincoln. Leyton Orient away on Easter Monday is a sticky fixture for Posh though, as is Bolton on the final day. Otherwise though, they do have a good run-in.
On paper, most definitely, though they have it in them to have 70% possession and ship 5 goals completely at random. I personally think it's still Derby's to lose. 10 points from 6 games is likely to be enough for them I reckon.
I know they beat us at their place but we were awful that day. You may be right about them getting over the line but there’s no way they are the 2nd best team I’ve seen this season.
Were you one of the ones who said the same thing when we were in relegation zone at Christmas when we went up via play offs?
On a slight side note, the recruitment from Peterborough has been exceptional of late. They have four players who would walk into any side in our league.
Their recruitment has always been good to be fair. Unearthed some gems in last few years and mainly forward players, opposite to us who seem to find good defenders (not this year though).
