Haha I thought that when I saw it. Can’t remember where I saw the link. Might have just been some ******** on Twitter. Either way, he’ll get a move.
Unless your Barnsley, we sold Woodrow, Morris and Helik after relegation for the price of one Liam Kitching...
True, can't disagree with that. But it was under the old board, and the fees we've received/transfer dealings under our 'new' board have been much, much better. Hopefully long may it continue!
It's no wonder he chose to stay at Huddersfield then. Him and his Mrs fell in love with Yorkshire when they joined us and love walking their dog in the countryside. It's said it played a big reason why he joined Huddersfield when he could have gone home to play in front of 50,000 crowds. They are settled in the area. His next club could well be Sheffield United as they rebuild to try and go straight back up.
Micky Helik is on for three successive Championship relegation scraps right now. He's won one (somehow, with Hudds last season) and he's lost one (with us, the previous season) so far. If he and Hudds do make the drop this time, let's see how loyal he will be to them, like he wasn't with us!.
No loyalty in football mate. If Huddersfield weren't impressed with heliks form they wouldn't be loyal to him either
Hindsight’s wonderful isn’t it? All moves are a gamble at the point of his move it may have been the only viable offer he had, he may have been sold the dream by the owner of a club who until recently had been in the PL and had ambition. He may also have been desperate or even told to find a club. Theres no way that when Morris and Woodrow joined Luton they thought they would be playing in the PL with them either. In fact most football fans would have thought Huddersfield as a club would be the more likely.
