    Does crime pay, I remember Brian Clough who always hated fouling because eventually it damaged the team in the long run with players not being able to play future games as well injured players not being any use to him. Well he did all right with having a low fouls and sending offs.

    And one of them will be against Cosgrove as he rounds the keeper and is about to put the ball in the empty net. Unfortunately he is stopped when John Brayford dives at his feet, grabs the ball with both hands and then tosses it behind for a corner. The ref will rule that Cosgrove pushed him over then kicked the ball against his hands

    The ref will then realise Cosgrove was the closest barnsley player to their goal and adjust the last man rule to enable a red card...similar to the ref playing "last man's goalie" before at Burton

    I forgot to mention that Sam had already been booked five minutes earlier for smiling at the ref in a threatening manner. So yes, red card the only outcome…
