A foul supposedly, but nobody around us saw anything.

Anyone know why the second goal was disallowed? I didn't see any foul on Roberts.

EDIT: Apologies, I missed the two posts above.

 

I think the foul was given on the defender next to Roberts.

But saying that, I'd be livid if it was us that had that disallowed tbh

Nope and the Cambridge forum don't either, they do seem a tad perturbed at the decision.
Refs having a cracking game tho.

 

We all know the defense - centrally is shocking - this game is showing that once again. Collins will have to make changes as there is a lack of energy - a lack of intent purpose and desire to be first. This is by no means the first time the above could be said about first halves this season. Why then - do we always make like for like changes? The formation never changes - rigid at the back - a back 3 - a back 5 whichever you prefer to say (it’s a back 5 for me - we have full backs not wingers playing - neither can cross a ball beyond the first man) surely the three stooges at the back can become two stooges - at least it’s one wooden top not getting in the way of the other two? That would mean we could throw an extra forward on - or midfield player to really get hold of the game? Earl has had all the ball first half in a position - pretty much like a left back - why not go to a back four and free us up - why are we/is Collins incapable of doing this/seeing this.

 

On the lash in magaluf for whole 2weeks by looks of it.

 

He's got to be accountable for how clueless we look, hopefully the quality of our players can bail us out.

Cole is having to drop deep to get the ball and has done not MUCH wrong this half. He created that chance for macatee that hit the post. Went on a bit of run and tried to get us going after defending a free kick. Don’t know why he’s being criticised so much

the bigger problem is we don’t have anyone in midfield that can run at people. Everything is so slow and sideways. Thats on the Coach and how we are set up, not the players.

hope so cos I’ve no idea what kind of strikers people think we can sign on our budget, but we will absolutely miss Cole when he leaves

 

What an abysmal start

Absolutely no urgency or pace to our game. Lethargic in the build up play

 

What the hell does our head coach spend his week doing because it's not coaching a football team how to win matches that's for sure. The longer he's been the coach the worse the performances have become to the point where the team are devoid of attacking ideas and defend like Statues.

 

Peterboro 2 down at home to Carlisle. We're all crap.
