Standing there with his arms crossed for the majority of the match showing no instructions getting passed out, his lack of tactical awareness and inability to change the game when we are losing are all points of contention in regards to our manager.

 

Not bothered today but going on Monday, I'd sack Oakwell off for the rest of the season.

Serious note though. Can understand people calling for his head. Performances just have not been there and he is unable or unwilling to change game tactics.

He was a CB himself and our backline is simply not improving.

So I agree, approach someone to get us out of this lull and Collins will have to go.

Team needs motivation and equally a kick up the arse to bring them up to the standard they should be at. Collins just makes excuses.

 

why, players lacking any confidence, playing same style, no attempt to change things, yes the players are culpable but fking hell!

 

I wonder if the players who aren’t going to be here next season aren’t putting in 100% as don’t want to be injured when looking for a new club. Something has changed and since that Derby match we’ve not looked at it. You never know what agents etc are telling them

I thought Cambridge did what they came to do very well. Can’t remember his name but their centre back had a good game and they always looked dangerous on the counter

The team haven’t played the same since the Bolton game. Something seems off. 0 goals in two home games is concerning. It’s pointless having all the possession when you do nothing with it. The home from this season has been atrocious.

It feels like they’re limping over the finish line which leaves no confidence whatsoever for the play offs.

 

Also the first substitute should have been Cosgrove for Cole. Can't believe Cole played the whole game.

 

To be honest, the players out of contract will do well to get a half decent team in this division. Your kanes and Caddens of this world are not championship quality

That first goal is so important; we knew they'd park the bus when in front, making it so difficult to play through a crowded area.

Cole looks a yard and a half off the pace, seems to be sliding for every decent ball across the box.

 

Yep, exactly this. Everything seems to have gone sharply downhill since that 98th minute Bolton equaliser. Looking like a season-defining moment right now.

 

Maybe as bemused as me. Can't polish a turd. The individual performances were truly appalling.

Tactics don't work at home, we've seen that all season. Pity Collins hasn't seen it. Too 'kin slow. That's 7 home games lost now.
I thought it couldn't have got any worse than last home game vs Cheltenham but I was wrong.

 

We need to let Pep Collins take charge for the away games and bring Stendel in for the home games, simples
