Nobody around me had any idea why it wasn't given and I've spoke to a few after the game who haven't a clue either.
It should never have been disallowed and there would have been uproar on here had it been us that were denied.
I thought it was given for a foul on the keeper but didn’t see it myself. Ref was very poor today. For both sides
I need to know. How long did you spend deciding what to call the quarter circle? You're right by the way, I'd have booked him for it.
Looked to me as though the Cambridge player made a back for Roberts as he jumped for the ball... the player didn't complain.
McCart is clearly fouled with the ball in the air and prevented from challenging for the ball, leaving their lad with a free header. Much as there’s much to bash the club with today, that was a foul and should not have been given as a goal. The ref got it right. The fact not one of their players complained ought to have been a strong clue.
I honestly don't see any clear foul on Mccart that prevents him from challenging for the ball. Looks to me like Mccart leaves it for Roberts who just completely misjudges his jump who, totally unhindered, falls to the floor because he's a mile away from the flight of the ball
