Yes. Let’s sack a manager who has us 5th in league and replace him with that lovely person because we can’t accept where we are.
On paper any decent manager would have us top 2 with the current squad at his disposal. The home form under Collins is a massive concern. Would you have accepted the last 3 home games points return of 1 against Lincoln Cheltenham and Cambridge plus blowing a 2 goal lead against a promotionrival? 8/10 vital home points dropped at this stage is criminal.
I agree the points return from the last three home games has been ****. But in the last two we should’ve won based on chances. And I’m not sure any manager would have this squad top two is valid. The current top two have either/both the advantage of bigger budget/time to build a team. Collins is doing a decent job in spite of home form.
It's more about accepting that we've won one out of 9 games against the current playoff teams, So why not consider our best possible options of getting promotion this season which would help us to hold on to our better players and balance the books ? Collins will leave sooner or later whether we like it or not.
I could be wrong on this but current playoff teams we’ve only lost to Lincoln since October. I would like to think we have more integrity than getting rid of a guy who has got us to where we are to appoint that lovely person on the chance he gets us up.
"On paper any decent manager would have us top 2 with the current squad at his disposal." Can't imagine which paper you'd be looking at.
I'm not saying we should get rid of him but I really don't see him being brave enough to win the playoffs and I don't see him lasting too long in to next season so why not at least consider Warnock to get us over the line.
But if you’re saying get warnock in then you’re obviously saying Collins out. I’d like to think we’re better than that.
I've also been told Mike Basset was at Oakwell today. He's told JAQ that if he's put in charge then tarn will be playing 4,4 ******* 2
I agree mate, it won't happen and in all honesty probably shouldn't but Collins just frustrates the life out of me, I can't help think we've got so much more to us than what we show.
I agree with you to an extent and it's crazy to even talk about swapping a manager who has us in the playoffs but I just don't see Collins lasting long and think that the fans are slowly turning against him.
A lot of fans have been against him from moment one, he's probably had more sack him now posts on here than any other manager in recent years.
Aye, let's sign a dinosaur with a squad completely unsuited to his style of play. I don't think we should sack Collins and even if we did Warnock would be well down the list. Our squad and him are basically incompatible. Some people on here are mental.
