Roberts won’t sign for us Williams will be gone Cadden will be gone McCart I wouldn’t sign Kane will be gone Cole will be gone Macatee will go back to Luton Doesn’t leave us with much
McAtee must be so pissed off that he turned down the opportunity to go elsewhere in January just to be Collins' scapegoat every week
I just hope we recruit properly for a change this summer. Let's get some pace and umph back in our play.....oh and build from the back too, by that I mean organise from the back not the slow ponderous passing stuff! I think last close season i stated that you don't have to be world beaters in this division ....just organised and robust at the back and quick up front (and take your chances). Whats the old saying?...."Goals win you matches....clean sheets win titles"...or summert!
Just look at who comes on for Cole, Kane, Cadden and Williams when they get subbed...that's who will be playing next year, add in this years loan players not staying and same again who comes on if they go off...Could see Cosgrove, Watters, Russell, Cotter, Killip, O'Keefe, Cundy, Grant all in the 1st team with even Lopata and Shepard coming back and some of the development players moving up like Jalo...there certainly won't be any movement in the transfer market unless we go up..even then it will be limited.
We have this discussion every season……..we’ll not sign anyone, all squad will leave blah blah blah……..it’s what happens at every club
Maybe a clear out is what's needed it's going to happen anyway chance for the dof to earns his coin. Let's hope lessons have been learnt that when you go too far down the pyramid they aren't top half league one ready.
So what just like any other season under these owners they will be replaced by lower league players while we also sell our young talented lads for next to nowt Get use to it
Mentioned on a few other threads that it will be a big summer for us. I hope we’re planning for both outcomes already, as much as we can anyway.
Jalo is our only saleable asset.. might have to cash him in.. or the board will have to put in another 4 million to stay where we are at present..
