Some nice competitive English racing today. I thought there were a couple of fiddles yesterday. The ground was clearly slower on the far rail up the straight at Cheltenham and It's on the line and Dinoblue both had option to come up the middle and didn't. Dinoblue checked behind the other Mcmanus horse and went for the rail when it could have carried on straight and It's on the line jinked left when it went clear towards the false tapes for a stride.
Have to say, Mr D, I thought It's On The Line looked a bit of a mule. I think it was only because Derek O'Connor is such a brilliant jockey that it managed to get second. Strange to think it's the Turf Flat season this time next week!
Aye, more dodgy horses with no form going in at 33-1. Leave well alone for first few weeks imo (unless there's a really clear angle).
Morning all, i've had a Tip t'day, i'm not aving a bet now until Aintree, but if your interested Shannon Royale at Fairyhouse 16,30
Generally 6/1, Mr Winker. You'd have to slightly fear Willie's Olympic Man, but Timeform say Shannon Royale put up a career best last time, so he must surely have a shout. Pity Musselburgh is abandoned because of the going as it was an interesting card. Elsewhere today I'd be positive about Aidan's Tower Of London (12.40) and Auguste Rodin (4.00) at Meydan. The latter may be too good for this field, with Emily Upjohn possibly needing the race.
Cheers for that, i wont be having a bet as i am saving mi money so i can av a decent wager or two at aintree.
