To be honest though, this looked nothing more than a record-padding exercise. Never any more than a puncher's chance and didn't have the technical skills to concern Simpson. Not sure what we, or indeed he, can learn from this victory.
Bit of both to be fair. I don't know much about boxing but Callum did a professional job and the other guy looked as though he'd have been happy to call it a draw before coming out for 4th round
No expert but they said the lad he beat had decent pedigree and he absolutely out classed him. Summer at Oakwell would be good hopefully
never been to an actual boxing fight - all a bit too much testosterone for my liking. I'd absolutely love to see him fight at Oakwell though. would be brilliant for the town.
I think you'd be genuinely surprised mate. Its not all that at all, even at the UFC its different. If you enjoy the sport of boxing id recommend going at least once somewhere where you're comfortable, perhaps following Simpson.
Fight after is a decent scrap. Lawal bigger, stronger, dominating the centre of the ring. Riley mobile, wily and much busier but it's down to whether he has the stamina to maintain it for the second half of the bout.
Another win but needs to step up in class. Can definitely see him fighting at Oakwell in the next 2-3 years.
What a card that's been. Rocky Balboa stuff in the headline bout! Not often you see a draw in the heavyweights and think, "Yep, fair result" but I couldn't separate those two over twelve rounds and neither could the judges.
