If you think about it the most successful clubs stay in a division for a few years, build gradually year on year and are then ready to compete when they go up. Ipswich are a prime example - years at this level but look at them now. Our model seems to be have a decent season and then lose most of that team either in the summer or the following January. That cycle has to be broken some time or we will never make any progress. For that reason I'd sooner see us stay down again and build better for next year. Can we do that though is the big question.
