Kayden Jackson, Kieffer Moore, Connor Chaplin, Adam Armstrong James Bree, Sam Morsy and Joe Rothwell. Proper Barnsley fest this
He was a strange one for us bags of energy should have scored more than he did, thought Struber got a tune out of him though.
Kayden Jackson turning out for a team that are top of the championship will never stop being utterly bizarre. If they ever isolate and synthesise whatever McKenna has been feeding to their players this season I'll have some please.
I'll be honest I wasn't that bothered as I always felt he flattered to deceive. Fair to say I was wrong.
Incredible to see the difference between them and Wednesday/Plymouth - over 40 points despite only a few at the end of last season!
Genuinely impressive how determined teams are in the championship to cack the bed at Portman Road. Fair play to them all, must've had some pre season agreement.
Also not forgetting Ipswich have been very fortunate with a number of decisions going in their favour at Portman Road across the season.
Got another one tonight with Bree getting sent off. Looked like player caught his own foot and tripped and their was another defender coming off to cover. Goal came from that the left hand side at the end of the game.
Don't get me wrong good luck to Ipswich, they've been brill but they've definitely benefitted from a lot of questionable decisions at key times in the season at Portman Rd. I had a feeling they'd go well this season, wish I'd have stuck a tenner on them for the top 6 before the season started
I really hope they go up. I’d love to see them finish above two of the parachute payment sides to do it. They could get 100 points this season. That’s incredible for a newly promoted side. If McKenna takes them up automatically it’s one of the great footballing achievements in this country in my opinion. He would deserve every award going.
Interesting comments on the co comms tonight saying they'd built for the championship last season, hard to argue against and it might just pay off big time. Thought they were streets ahead of anyone last year, I predicted 7th for them this season in with a great chance, hope they go up never forget how good their fans were towards us in 2000
Always liked him, was disappointed when we sold him, think we got a bit too big for our boots thinking we could do better.
