I heard they boood at half-time and some sang for Collins to be sacked, according to Doug from Chronicle
Thought we were poor, Collins out, your football is **** to silence and then they sparked into life once we scored.
Collins reacted to your football is **** and Collins out chants saying its part and parcel and he can understand frustration as recent results have taken automatic spots away.
I wouldn't know owd warrior but they paid their money & quite right showed their frustrations, It may have well been the kick up asre that was required, that & Collins rocket, maybe.
I was as critical as most at half time. Frustrating times, just glad we turned it around second half. Fair play…
I've been and yes some were singing that..I never join in with negative stuff at a game but jesus ya could understand why some do after that 1st half....looked more like earlier in season 2nd half..
Some around us moaned about everything, wanted Collins out and booed a few times. Watching the goals go in was a joy as it pissed on their bonfires. Best away team in this league, come from behind umpteen times and won and I hear we’ve set a new club record today. People need to have a bit more faith.
Imagine traveling to an away game on Easter Monday when your side is 5th in the league, then booing at half time just because we happened to be losing - especially when we've come from behind numerous times this year. Dedicated but odd. A real paradox.
It’s the terrible home form mate that’s creating that mentality. I can’t get my head around the difference, it’s unreal.
So was I although without the OTT comments that some come out with. Burton could have had 3 or 4 first half goals but we rode that onslaught and proved to be the better side
Fans pay their money to watch the football there the loyal ones if the performances haven't been good enough like Lincoln Cambridge and 1st half today aswell as team selection they can let him know. Because if a bigger club comes in for Collins we won't see him for dust so it works both ways.
We really are an entitled bunch aren't we. Getting angry and upset because we've gone behind in a game. Why not wait until the second half is well underway and see how it's going before getting so negatie?! I'd have loved it if Neil Collins had stuck two fingers up to some of those moaning fans at full time because then they'd have been complaining how unacceptable it was with the irony lost on them!
I don't think it was just today although the team selection and formation was strange to say the least and the that 1st half was probably the worst we have played all season could/should have been more than 1 down at half time. The recent performances against Lincoln and Cambridge haven't been good enough either.
I know where you’re coming from, it was as if some had stepped out of oakwell and arrived in Burton still smarting and expecting the worst AND I shared a barrier with Kelvin, who was turning the air blue! I can’t let myself carry one game’s disappointment into another like that. I think I’d explode if I did
